The Cultural Forum Focuses on Developing Parent Councils' Capacities to Enhance Education in Schools of Northwest Jerusalem The Cultural Forum Center, in cooperation with the Student Fund Association, organized a specialized training session today, Saturday, at its headquarters in Beit Anan. The session was attended by 25 representatives from schools in northwest Jerusalem, with the aim of developing the capacities of parent councils and members of the teaching staff, including principals and teachers. This event is part of a series of activities aimed at enhancing the quality of education in these schools, as part of the "Improving the Quality of Education in Rural Jerusalem" project, implemented in partnership with the Network of Civil Society Organizations. The project aims to create a sustainable educational environment that supports the efforts of teachers and parents in raising the level of education and strengthening cooperation between the local community and schools. This session is a continuation of a previous training round that focused on providing participants with practical tools and skills to improve the performance of parent councils and enhance the level of education in the area. In her opening speech, project coordinator Iman Al-Jamal provided a detailed explanation of the project’s goals and its importance in building a strong partnership between schools and parents, noting that improving the educational environment requires cooperation and integration among all concerned parties. Dr. Mohammad Al-Rabai, who led the training session, presented a range of successful global educational models, drawing on the latest studies and innovative practices in educational management. He emphasized the importance of adopting well-structured work plans within a clear methodology and activating the internal system of parent councils to ensure sustained efforts and the achievement of desired goals. The session saw significant interaction from the participants, who showed great interest in the discussions and exchanged ideas and experiences on how to improve the educational process in their schools, contributing to the creation of a stimulating educational environment for students at all educational levels.
