Olive Harvest Conference to Strengthen Farmer Protection in the Northwest Jerusalem Villages
The Popular Action Committee and the municipalities of the Northwest Jerusalem villages organized a meeting on the olive harvest season, with the participation of representatives from the Popular Action Committee, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the Military and Civil Liaison, local municipalities, community institutions, and a number of farmers, alongside the Cultural Forum Center.
The meeting discussed ways to support farmers, facilitate their access to their lands, and strengthen their protection during the olive harvest season. Participants emphasized the importance of coordination and cooperation among all relevant institutions to support farmers and strengthen their resilience.
The conference also announced October 15, 2026, as a volunteer olive-harvesting day, and called on local and international institutions to participate in the volunteer work, support farmers, and accompany them to their lands.
Olive season… a season of resilience and giving.
